what is the concept of power
an emergent world power
shaping the world
from the sweep of history
the making of me
the what i am
the where i come from
to the mind of me
the making of the mind of me
to which the mind of me
must agree
with the yes of me
what is this concept of power
the movement of the world
to the movement of our specie
to the yes of the power of the word
made world
but the concept of economy
the mass mobilisation of a labour force
in its production
& control of a resource
that makes the world of me become
& to which i must Kao Tao
– submit
without option
my mind
made up for me
& if I say no
if I say yes to my no
it is meaningless in the face
in the might of the power to be
& throughout time
our brief time
humankind
has gone to war
against tyranny
& invasion
in the name of freedom
& gain
only to become
the tyrant again
such is the world’s religion
& so I am left
with my meaningless
yes to my no
& the absurdity of my existence
my made unmade mind
before the power of might is right
who knows
what the future may hold
Africa India China Brazil
may rise like phoenix from the ashes
in their struggle for control
& that is their answer
whosoever
whatsoever is in control
controls forever the mind
but no one is in control
no one will ever be in control
& as long as our species
perpetuates
its existence on this planet
it will never be in control
in less than 200 years
after
our disappearance
from the planet
nature would remove
all trace of human
civilisation
even the great wall of China
as a final remnant
would probably be covered
in lichen & fungi
with only the head
of the Dragon
in the sea
its back in the mountains
& its tail in the desert
