Index of poems:
sweetgrass wafting autumn harvest sighs with love divine, unspoken candle light observing darkness holds a world expectantly...
here in dark of dawn's prebirth
birthing pains in nut shell open
time stands still but only shortly
into the shoes of our own making
hordes of angels' singing voices
"here" -- they gently touch my shoulders
all love is a pulling, tugging my body was cold and shivered and shivered and shivered until it was warm tears fell and fell and fell till they were gone my campfire says "it is good to know cold." the full moon says "it is good to know empty." the refugees say "carry a child and you can go on" i say body, you have my permission to shiver all the fears learned in childhood shiver out the fear of the Unknown make a lighter heart of company meet a stranger with no stranger eyes
Heads or tails?
we all want home
"I promised the same land to the Arabs and the Jews and chose not to tell them. It is up to them to figure out how to share the same land."
Salaam alaikum, alaikum salaam signed: Yaweh a.k.a. Allah
now that i have walked those sacred Black Hills black words & black thoughts no longer flow through my brain unrecognized catching them in their formation i run in all determination to denature them i run from habitual joining in with others it is too easy drawing into the whilrpool dark & dank would hide me from the sun who brights my eyes in our undoing of ancient ties i root myself to Mother & becoming all that nurtures life & heals in mists of fog remembered Yellow Horse in his repeating way. "I am only a human being," like buffalo, head bowed, and in humble dignity, "There are only two roads; the material road which is not happiness and the un-material road which is..."
why does not -- our human society -- include humans there are hungry neglected humans among us crippled in body and/or spirit
but they are not even humane to dogs
oh throw-away cultures
